I have been in the health care field for over twenty years. Graduating from the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balance as a massage therapist in 1989, I went on to study Neuromuscular Re-education with Dr. Craig Nelson. NMR is a ten-session treatment based on the theories of Ida Rolf, which Dr. Nelson applied to the healing of athletic or personal injuries. I have used this training to treat various professional athletes including NBA, NFL and MLB players, members of the Joffrey Ballet, and track and field athletes.

Over the next twelve years, I continued my studies to include Shiatsu, Jin Shen Ryo Acupressure, Lymphatic Drainage, Zero Balancing, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology and Eucapnic Breathing. I have integrated these modalities to enhance my practice.

In 2002, I went on to pursue my Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine at SAMRA University, specializing in orthopedic injury rehabilitaion. I continued my post-graduate studies at the Beijing International Acupuncture Academy in the spring of 2009.

In 2011 I completed courses in Dr. Richard Tan's Balancing Method, which is the primary treatment protocol in my acupuncture practice for pain management.

Recently I completed a Course in Postural Alignment at the Egoscue Universtiy. This has given me the ablity to truely treat many of the root causes of pain in the body. I am excited about this new technique I have added to my practice as I know it will greatly help my patient in their journey to becoming pain free.
